ABOUT US
The story behind the name: When I was about 16 years old I was a waitress at a local restaurant and a gentleman asked me if I knew my name (spelt Tamar) was in the Bible and that it meant Palm Tree. I did not know but when searching for a name for my business, the story came back to me and I started researching. I really wanted a name that had meaning but wasn't just my name. I searched Palm Tree and found out that Palmette is another word for Palm Tree. When researching further into palm tree it is described as being, strong, sturdy, and dependable. Palm tree is also known or was used as pillars or columns. Corinthian columns used by Greeks are my logo since they are pillars with the palm tree leaves at the top. Many Corinthian columns were constructed around 174BCE and still stand today, weathered but strong.
